TUTOR PROFILE

Matt Muldoon, founder of The Natural Building Company (www.naturalbuildingcompany.com), began his building career in Spain as an apprentice working with traditional Catalan masonry.  He went on to learn Natural Building Techniques and now practices and teaches Green Oak Framing and Straw Bale, Earth and Hemp Building as well as Green Roofing and Natural Plaster finishes.
 
Matt is at his best using traditional skills to turn local materials into beautiful structures.  He enjoys empowering people with the skills and knowledge to realise their own projects and training people to build healthy and sustainable structures.  He believes that the best buildings are created when people come together in a spirit of co-operation, skill, sharing and fun.  Matt's workshops include the theory and practice of sustainable and ecological construction.
