Help the Sinfield Trust raise funds with Easyfundraising. Having checked their credential with other charities, we have decided to register our cause with an organisation called Easyfundraising, a web-based service that works rather like corporate charitable donations. If you can spare the time it takes to read this, you could help us to raise funds with a minimal initial effort and no extra cost to you, but enormous help to us for which we would be very grateful. This is how it can be done. First you need to register on www.easyfundraising.org.uk When asked which cause you wish to support, scroll down till you get to The Sinfield Nature Conservation Trust. Then there are three ways of raising money for us. 1. Online shopping - a big help to us: Make Easyfundraising your webpage. This is very easy to do. On the main page of the Easyfundraising website you will see a little picture of a house and the words ‘Set as your homepage’. Just click on it, and then shop online as you usually would. Over 500 well known retailers are registered on the website (easy to find in the alphabetical list), and at no extra cost to you, they will donate up to 15% of the cost of your purchase to your chosen cause. Because online shopping does not have the overheads of the high street shops, they can afford to donate through charitable giving. These retailers include Amazon, John Lewis, Marks and Spencers, Tesco and most other large retailers. This Christmas you could give us a wonderful Christmas present as well as your nearest and dearest. Every order counts! 2. Other online services – an even bigger help: e.g. Insure your car with Direct Line and raise £30 for our cause. Other services include flights, Eurotunnel, Travelodge, Post Office services, AOL and BT Broadband and even registering with Ebay. Some retailers make free donations just for switching to their service, registering on their site, or participating in a free trial. For example a 30-day free trial with Which online donates £9, or switching energy supplier can also benefit The Sinfield Trust. 3. Internet searches: helping us again: By changing your search engine (e.g. Google) to Easysearch (a branch of Yahoo). To do this click on the easysearch button just below the log-in area of the Easyfundraising website, and follow simple instructions. If you keep this as your default search engine, then every time you do an internet search (surfing the net) a penny will be donated to us. It may not sound like a lot, but every little bit helps, as anyone who understands the concept of ‘critical mass’ will know. For example, someone who makes on average 10 searches a day could generate around £35 a year for our cause. This could buy us 15 fencing posts or pay for some of the costs of mailing members. For more information on this, please go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk or email admin@easyfundraising.org.uk N.B. Referrals: If you wish to register another cause of your own, please do so through the ‘referral’ link on our website. That way, as a ‘referral’ from us, we can earn an extra 20% of what you make at no extra cost to you. Many thanks for your help. It really will make a huge difference to our funds, and therefore to our future progress.
