DIRECTIONS TO WHITE HOUSE FARM

BY CAR
In the interest of the environment and local residents, these suggested routes avoid single-track roads where possible and use the quickest route from the main roads.  We would be grateful if you would drive slowly on the small country lanes.
 
A12 London to Great Yarmouth
 
Travelling north on the A12, shortly after the Sutton Hoo/Melton roundabout at Woodbridge, take the first left signposted to Bredfield. 
 
OR: Travelling south, after the Wickham Market bypass A12 dual carriageway ends, take the second right signposted to Bredfield. 
 
Take the first left signposted to Hasketon and take the second right where the sign does not point to the right but says Hasketon and Woodbridge straight on and Bredfield and Dallinghoo towards the way you have come.  The farm's driveway entrance is on your right in 1/3 mile, turn right into the driveway and veer left to the parking area.  There is an bee hive information box at the parking area which contains maps of the land.

FROM WOODBRIDGE/IPSWICH DIRECTION you can alternatively turn onto the Grundisburgh Road (B1079) at the Woodbridge roundabout with the Wyevale Garden Centre.  Then take the first right turning, signposted Hasketon.  Then take the first left signposted Hasketon (Blacksmiths Road).  You will drive into Hasketon village with the church on your left.  Keep straight on and follow the sharp right hand bend where there is a short brick wall with a Boulge Road sign.  After this right hand bend take the second left (opposite Highfield House).  The farm's driveway entrance is on your right in 1/3 mile, turn right into the driveway and veer left to the parking area.  There is an bee hive information box at the parking area which contains maps of the land.
 
 
A1120 Stowmarket to Yoxford
 
Travelling from Stowmarket to Yoxford, in Framsden turn right onto B1077 signposted to Ipswich, Woodbridge, Framsden, Otley, Helmingham, and Helmingham Hall Gardens.  This is a winding road through village of Framsden.
 
In 2.3 miles turn left onto the B1079 signposted to Woodbridge, Wickham Market
(B1078), Otley and Grundisburgh. Drive through Otley past the turning to Otley College and into Clopton.
 
In 3.2 miles turn left onto B1078 signposted to Wickham Market, Debach and Commercial Park.
 
In 4.7 miles turn right signposted to Woodbridge, Bredfield and Debach. In 0.2 miles you will come into the village of Debach.  Continue until you reach Boulge. 
When you reach Boulge look out for  a signpost to the right “Hasketon 1 ½ miles”.
Turn right here.  If you pass the village centre you have gone too far.
 
Continue along this road and take the second right where the sign does not point to the right but says Hasketon and Woodbridge straight on and Bredfield and Dallinghoo towards the way you have come.
 
The farm's driveway entrance is on your right in 1/3 mile, turn right into the driveway and veer left to the parking area.  There is an bee hive information box at the parking area which contains maps of the land.

BY TRAIN
Woodbridge train station (regular direct trains available from London Liverpool Street/Ipswich/Lowestoft - the Liverpool Street or Ipswich to Lowestoft line: http://www.nationalexpresseastanglia.com/train_times/stations_route_map). From the train station you can take a bus from a nearby bus stop on Quay Street (see below) or hire an electric bicycle from The Crown on Quay Street (see http://www.electricbikehire.co.uk/01-locations-electric-bikes.php )

BY BUS FROM WOODBRIDGE TRAIN STATION (takes approx. 12 mins)
Buses run several times a day Monday to Saturday (no bus service available on Sundays).  From Woodbridge train station, walk (under 5 mins) to Quay Street, to the 70A bus stop opposite The Crown.  The 70A bus takes you to Hasketon Church.  For bus times see: http://www.travelineeastanglia.org.uk/ea/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=en&timeOffset=15 (enter from Woodbridge, Suffolk to Hasketon) or phone 0871 200 22 33. 

WALKING FROM THE HASKETON CHURCH BUS STOP TO WHITE HOUSE FARM (takes approx. 1/2 hour)
With Hasketon church on your left and the village hall/post box on your right, walk straight ahead.  You will reach a sharp right hand bend where there is a brick wall with a Boulge Road sign.  Follow the bend to the right and carry straight on.  Turn down the second left turning, in about 1/2 mile, opposite Highfield House.  White House Farm is a 1/3 mile down this road on the right hand side.  You will pass Fir Tree Cottages on your right about ¼ mile before you arrive at White House Farm's driveway entrance on the right hand side. 
NB We are applying for a request bus stop at the end of White House Farm road but do not yet know if this will be possible.
